Too far out of the centre. Few eating places nearby. 3 star rating as we stopped on a 35°c day so the room was so hot at night but it had no aircon, just a fan. The rest of the stay was good, breakfast good, just a shame they don't put out the vegan sausages you have ask for them to be cooked.
Personally I think having the rooms for disabled people on top floor is a bit odd. In an emergency we cant use the elevator ‍nnThe reception is on the 2nd floor with people coming and going as they please, I thought that was odd too.nnLocation isnt terrible but not where I would have expected, the benefit is food delivery isnt ages.nnFeom travelling and staying at different hotels I would say this is one of the lowest. Again its all personal preference.
It’s okay. Best thing about it is price and availability of parking. No AC in 30 degrees, no mini Fridge to cool drinks down, no option for cold water from taps in room.nnYou will not come across many more basic hotel rooms, you get what you pay for
Clean and comfy hotel. Rooms are a good size with everything you could need for a long or short stay. Only downside is the bathroom is a bit small.nHad a room facing the train line but it didn’t bother us at all.nnJust outside Guildford with good connections to A3 to travel around. However this comes with the downside of pretty heavy traffic at rush hour times.nPeople mention the gym being a perk which it is, however good luck trying to find a car park space after 5pm. The car park is large enough for a hotel but all the gym goers use it so if you arrive in the evenings you have nowhere to park. Waited in the car for 30mins a few times during our stay of a week just to wait for a space to appear.
All in all, you get what you pay for, but just don't eat here, 45 min wait for 2 burgers with extras, exactly the same and exactly the same wrong, after another 8 mins, half cold, extra fillings just wedged in, not good. Assistant manager did give us a couple of drinks, so that is at least something good.
