Stayed a few times. The staff are always great and the rooms are always clean, tidy and a decent size. On site 'restaurant ' is to be used as a last resort but there is a Frankie and Benny's on the same site. Parking can be a nightmare as the car park is shared with a gym and the afore mentioned restaurant. If you travel by train the station is a 10 minute walk.

Warm and comfy room. Food could be bought from 10pm till 6pm from a limited menu. When we ordered we were told only pizza was available!! Then only 2 of the 5 were available. The cappuccino tasted just like hot milk.. Awful. And the sole employee was unhelpful and obviously stressed. Very disappointed.

Was booked here for work and was surprised when I got here. The shower is great and the bed is super comfy. The rooms are standard but I don't care from frills. All the staff here are great and was welcomed by the assistant manager James. He really made me feel welcomed with first rate customer service and answered any questions I had. Also the breakfast was pretty awesome.

We've used this a few times when visiting relatives. It's quiet, usually has very easy and free parking, and has a reasonable bar area and fair prices for drinks. There's a Frankie & Bennys next door, which serves a decent meal, obviously with no problem walking 30 yards back into the hotel! I'd strongly recommend this place for a comfortable budget priced night or two.

Here during 'Mini beast from the east' so freezing outside. Room I got given had a window that wouldn't close, so reception gave me another room. This room's heater was faulty so barely warm but couldn't be asked to move as late now, day 2 ask to be moved and this room has a toilet that doesn't flush... I've just about given up!!!
