College could invest their money into more wiser and beneficial things, such as better/cheaper food (£3 for burger and 12 chips which I counted) and computers in the library, instead of the new PDP sessions (which are compulsory which get in the way of student study) so students have to learn about 'self confidence and how to speak politely to employers'. I've been with the college since 2014 and it's sad to see the college going down hill since the new head master arrived. Nothing is done properly and unless you like flavourless pasta and 40% of your classrooms computers not working especially in the media department then its a great place to be xxxx Just to add when I had a 7am to 12pm work shift I went straight to college to hire out equipment the room wasn't open yet and I was in a panic, a teacher in the staffroom just said in his own words 'life is hard just deal with it' so unless they're your teacher don't expect any others to have compassion for you x

Staff are fun, yet strict when necessary and the students get along well with one another.

Terrible. Kicked out after a week because I was given the wrong hours and turned up unnecessarily and was penalised when I didn't attend the actual sessions! They specialise in looking after less able students.

Wouldn't even give it one star. The college is let down by some of its staff who are incompetent at what they do. CATHY CHISOLM is supposed to be incharge of apprenticeships but never turned up to mine to set any work for me and complained when I got stressed about the fact I had nothing to show for the work I was doing on placement. She now refuses to let me apply for further courses but cannot give a sufficient reason other than I was "stressing her out" and an apparent record of a course i left years ago during serious illness in which I nearly died, in another district of the country, goes against me. I have taken it up with higher authorities but I am in no way happy with the college and find the help on offer isn't actually available when sought after. The woman is a bully who abuses her power.
