As usual it was busy in there which meant there was a wait to order food and drinks. Once food order was placed we were able to enjoy the carvery straight away nnMy only whinge was that the slices of meat were on the thin side have been to other carveries where the slices are thicker. But the service, variety of vegetable dishes and dessert menu options are good left feeling satisfyingly full!
Came here for dinner with my grandparents. There was a vast choice on the menu and plenty i could have as a vegetarian. The meals did take quite a long time to come out, which is why i knocked off a star, however it was at a peak time.
We love the carvery, we visit as a couple or with the children several times a year and always enjoy it. Staff are friendly and the pub is generally clean for such a budget friendly establishment too. Keep up the good work!
We arrived at 12:00 on a Saturday for a family lunch. It was quiet and the staff were finishing set up for what promised to be a busy day. Our table was quickly prepared and bar drinks service was quick and polite. Our menu choices included carvery and table served options, including children’s meals. We were advised to get carvery meals to be timed with the table served options, a good point. The food was good and served hot, unfortunately on cold plates, a particular dislike of mine. Not an issue for the children’s meals as a cold plate is more appropriate. The food was excellent, and the drinks, at very reasonable prices. See you again, for sure.
A really good experience! Service was friendly and efficient. Carvery was honestly amazing. Fresh crispy roast potatoes and such tasty meats. Best carvery around
