High streets died off due to restricted vehicle access and parking as streets were pedestrianised, I can see these shopping centres going the same way but due to cost of parking....I was in today for a quick pick up, 22 mins but paid £3.30 for the pleasure...What A rip off. Shame on you Touchwood.....One star as not busy but would not recommend. Online shopping from now on with delivery!
You are not intended to turn left into this car park! If you tried, then you missed the little no left turn sign on the traffic lights. Hence the problems with scratched and scraped alloys on the kerb and driving past and not seeing the entrance. You need to proceed to roundabout ahead, make a circuit and enter from the opposite direction. Still quite narrow, but that is by design! Once you are in, plenty of space, but at night exit marked 'Shops' is closed. Proceed to diagonally opposite larger, illuminated exit point by pay machines.nNote to Solihull Council - improved signage would solve these access problems - 'No left turn here, continue to roundabout and access from opposite direction by turning right'
Really narrow entrance! I drove past this car park 3 times in disbelief of the entrance as I thought it was a cycle lane that’s how tight it was. I ended up pulling in as I saw a car do the same and had to reverse on the main road and it’s such a sharp left and my alloys are all scratched as I mounted the kerb. Such an extremely lane spot to get in. The actual car park is big, well lit and modern. Pay machine was a bit difficult to use. Exit is fine, go actually get 2 lanes. Please make the entrance lane bigger as this is so off-putting and dangerous
Busy car park but easy to find and use. Reg recognition so easy access. Spot on
Quickest and easiest car park to use in Solihull. New no ticket system is good and there is multiple ways to pay. Not the cheapest parking in Solihull
