I have taken out a policy from totally sports and I spoke to Nathan who was very helpful and patient on the phone talking me through the process and helped me pick a suitable option.  I have not yet had to make a claim off the policy. All I can speak for is their customer service from setting up the policy which seems good.

Just started a policy this evening after a very stress free and helpful conversation with Stephen B. Impeccable customer service and now I feel at ease knowing the bills are payed if I crash on the mtb. Highly recommended.

Totally Sports covers a few of the guys on our hockey team for injury. They are great to deal with. Our goalie broke his ankle last year and got paid out within a couple of weeks. Good knowing the guys are protected. Cheers

TLDR: Totally Insurance illegally started a policy on my behalf without my consent...  I was told I had to go through a series of questions and an underwriting to get an exact quote for sports insurance. I expressed I wanted it for my bicycle more than myself, but decided to get the quote anyway after being told they only did it for the rider, not the bike, as I thought I could always get a second policy from somewhere else for the bike.  I was told I'd receive a code from the insurance provider - Royal London - that I'd need to activate to start the policy, so I was assured by Tim at Totally that I wouldn't be starting a policy, just receiving an exact quote.  Deciding not to go ahead I started a policy with another provider.  3 months down the line, I had an email from Royal London welcoming me.  Tim, and Totally Insurance had proceeded with my policy despite not activating a code or giving authorisation to do so.  Royal London quickly cancelled the policy and were very pleasant.  Totally said it 'didn't sound like Tim' but I received a voicemail about 10 minutes after the cancellation, from Tim, exclaiming that he activated the policy on my behalf because he was worried I'd be without insurance as I hadn't gone ahead with the policy.  Pretty sure they acted illegally, but at the very least they were very sneaky and dishonest.”

Told him id let him know if i wanted to take out the insurance, constantly harrassed me with phone calls and left a snotty voicemail why i havent took it out

Can't fault their level of service. My other half had a nasty injury out riding on a Sunday last year before Christmas, and on the Monday they were on the phone helping him us the claims process. Money came in within about 10 days and is still coming in now as he still isn't at work. Probably would've had to lend from our parents if we didn't have these guys. Very professional and helpful as obviously we had a lot of questions. Well worth the £20 a month we pay.

Pretty poor experience. After cancelling policy with Insurance company Totally Sports Insurance had brokered the deal with, within 14 days, they tried charging me £100 ‘administration costs’ until I had argued the toss and the payment was removed. Had I not known my rights with insurance they would have been happy to fleece me of £100

a number of the riders at our track have used this company to cover them against breaks that might leave them of work. advisers v.helpful and cost of protection seems very reasonable. good to have the piece of mind for our lads.

partner injured playing hockey, cover through totally gave us payouts until he was able to work again. never think you'll need it but so glad we did. easy enough to setup and very friendly when it came to claim. 5/5
