After many years of seeing all manner of practitioners, including a number of chiropractors and osteopaths, for a long- standing problem, John has been the first person to get to the root cause and is optimistic that he will be able to treat it successfully. Treatment so far two sessions has already made a massive difference with significant improvement; and I am full of hope that the future looks bright! The estuary clinic is a fantastic place, with a wide range of practitioners and a lovely atmosphere and everyone I have come across has been so friendly. I have also had a very positive experience of acupuncture with Lisa and beginners yoga with Emma. Both really lovely people who have put me at ease immediately and both also very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend the Estuary clinic!
They have a pleasant staff and a highly qualified osteopath. John is a excellent professional who is devoted to his work. Not only may it help with back pain, but it can also help with other conditions. I would trust him more than a general practitioner because practitioners under duress, are prone to overlooking details and hence are unable to provide good care to their patients.
I have received both acupuncture and herbal treatment for many years from the practitioners at Estuary Clinic and I cannot recommend them enough. I have long term health issues which made it difficult to conceive and stay pregnant but, after courses of acupuncture and herbs, I went on to have healthy children. This would not have been possible without the treatment, advice and support received from Lisa, Isobel and John. I continue to have regular treatments to support my health and well being in my busy life. Just visiting the clinic is a calming, tranquil experience and I always leave feeling restored and well on the way to optimum health. Thank you.
I have always found the welcome at the Estuary warm, and gentle whatever the purpose of my attendance there. The ambience for yoga classes is the same and, the Instructors: Lisa and Laurie are the best in my opinion. They care for us students,observing us all, and challenging us too, aware of our individual ability.
I use the clinic every week for a special Pilates class with Donna - some of us, there are only as many as 8 in the class, have problems with shoulders, backs or legs so it is very carefully thought out and conducted to increase our core strength and the joint support muscles. It is very good for us all and we love the relaxing wind down as well! I receive treatment for lower back problems from John, the osteopath, on a regular basis which have helped me immensely, especially when my back locks- and he has managed to make it possible to walk out without pain. I can recommend his treatment wholeheartedly. I had a brief session with the Chiropodist and received good advice about a possible in-growing toenail and a very pleasant heel smoothing and a reduced rate as there was nothing that needed fixing at this time! I am very glad the Clinic is there and grateful it is able to offer both classes and treatments - I would like to try Tai Chi one day too!
My first time at Estuary Clinic and I was very impressed with Susie Hill, she was very professional, kind and approachable. My appointment was very much tailored to my individual needs and Susie was very thorough. A very calm and relaxing environment. I would highly recommend and I will be returning for more sessions.
I have been receiving treatments from John since 2007. He has made a significant difference to the quality of my life and I highly recommend trying a session. I now go a few times a year as I have found this to be a very effective way to keep my condition in check. The staff at the Estuary clinic are extremely knowledgeable in both modern health care and traditional/alternative therapies. They are pragmatic, friendly, patient and highly skilled!
The Yoga studio at the Estuary Clinic is such a gorgeous space to be in! Gillie's early morning yoga classes have been a great tonic and a wonderful start to the day on a Tuesdays and Thursdays. Gillie is a wonderful teacher, both patient and dynamic, and her classes are a great balance of challenge and chill! I also regularly attend classes taught by Lisa Roberts - an amazing yoga teacher who has really helped me to gain strength and confidence in my body; I get so much out of her sessions I miss it if I can't make a class. I attend the weekend workshops whenever I can. I can't recommend the studio and its teachers highly enough - they have made such a big difference to my well-being.
I felt Sue was really knowledgeable and had confidence she had correctly diagnosed what was wrong. I left with exercises to do and a good understanding of my injury and it was a relief to at last know what I had done and how to go about fixing it. She was professional throughout and I would thoroughly recommend the practice.
I had a biometric assessment with Alison Ottenelli. She was welcoming, and did a thorough overview of my health over seven and a half decades. I was particularly concerned about arthritic knees, and she examined and tested my knees and hips. She followed up my appointment by emailing me a leaflet and some simple exercises to strengthen the tendons, ligaments and muscles supporting my knees. I would highly recommend her as an osteopath
