played a gig here on the 19th April, amazing atmosphere and acoustics with a brilliant sound engineer i've played over 20 gigs with my band and this is the best experience with sound i've ever had and friendly barstaff. Lighting was top tier too. A great place to play, and watch any band!!
I visited the wine bar as I had to attend a funeral. The ambiance of the venue was quite cozy. The family had beautifully decorated the hall, making it look incredibly inviting
What on earth is wrong with this place? All 3 of their craft beers were out so I had a pint of Guinness. It was off and completely undrinkable. I took it back and the extremely unfriendly bar staff replaced it with a pint of lager which was warm - and I mean, ‘left out for a couple of hours on a sunny day’ warm. Was debating whether I could be bothered to go back and change it yet again when my friend grabbed it out my hand and did it for me, because the exact same thing had just happened to her. Bar person then went to the other tap and poured a cold one. But this was an action replay of what she had done just before so why she hadn’t learnt that one tap was serving warm beer and the other one wasn’t is beyond me. There was never a word of apology or even acknowledgment either. This is a real shame because as a live venue it’s not bad - decent sound with loads of space for a decent crowd. Live music is becoming increasingly hard to find in London so it’s a real shame that ones like these are making no effort to give customers a decent experience.
Great venue with beautiful interior, very high, light ceiling, lots of comfy places to sit. Drinks aren't too expensive either for this kind of place and the staff were really lovely. Sound was good as well. Was also nice that it is not directly on the high street, gives more private, secluded feel.
Booked for the euros final last night & was really disappointed Venue was swelteringly hot & packed with 100+ people Only one TV which wasn’t big or high enough, meaning not everyone who had paid entry could see Draft beer wasn’t working so had to buy glass bottles, which they ran out of by about half time Upstairs would have offered better viewing but guests weren’t allowed up there, however staff / staffs friends were up there watching When I arrived there were 2 bar staff serving over 100 people, & my friend realised they were over-charging for the drinks charging draft prices for bottles Weren’t allowed to exit and return at half time Overall the venue could be very cool, just needs more preparation / staff / organisation next time!
Really great venue. Staff are really nice. Shout out to the security guard who was really nice about my epi pens making sure I was with people who knew how to use them. Definitely will be back.
Nice place for partying, friendly staff, great music. venue offers a spacious dance floor with a more quiet area inside as well. Security staff are the best so welcoming at the door and so professional. doing a great job keeping everyone safe.
We booked for a show and arrived at 7pm and could see the place with light from the skylight. It was a quirky, quaint venue and we managed to get great seats. Bar service was quick and we had beers and champagne, so didn't manage to try cocktails this time. Don't think they serve food though. The event started a bit later than scheduled, but the performers were all stellar and entertaining. Great voices, timing, acts were really professional and the setting felt intimate. Absolutely loved it!
Went there on a whim after the man at the booth told us it was busy. We paid the entrance fee and we went in and to our suprise it was dead quiet. We immediately went to get a refund and leave and we were told that once it was purchased there was no refunds. Very unhappy with being miss-sold something and told we cannot get money back mere moments after paying.
Was too early so, we don't had a chance to enjoy the band. But the bar staff was super friendly. Next time for sure
