Friendly, reliable and knowledgeable staff. Kath in particular gave excellent customer service, calling me, as promised, to let me know when an item was in stock and going out of her way, even when her shift had finished, to ensure that I had what I wanted and left feeling valued. Thank you to you all, I completely recommend using their store.
I popped in to the store today and wasn't really sure what I really needed but I was directed perfectly by Jill, unbelievably helpful, she was back and forth with items making sure that I had the correct items that I needed, I even came away with something that I didn't go in for but needed!10/10 for the service, thank you Jill!
Had the parts and better price and choice on waste pipes and fittings than Screwfix, wanted a shall waste outlet for a walk in shower Toolstation had exactly the one I wanted
Went to buy new boots for work Dean R was very helpful as got home and boots in box were size 8 not 10 went back to shop had a laugh with Dean R about it unlike his colleague who was very unhelpful with no tool knowledge with the lady he was serving so I helped her out and passed her onto Dean R.

Jill and Cath both served me today in Newport toolstation branch and I was blown away with the excellent level of service. Never met these ladies before and yet they both went above and beyond the call of duty, both very polite friendly and helpful. A great asset to the company and both deserve a pay raise or bonus at least. Very impressive service!!
I visited the Newport branch late afternoon in desperate need of a particular item to enable me to get a family home back online. By the time I arrived at the branch I was desperate. I was served by Claire, she explained that the product I required was not on the shelf but they had a delivery today and it may have been in that delivery. I explained the emergency and she told me she could possibly have the item by 11:30 am the following day, I accepted this because there was nothing anyone could do at that late hour. I contacted my client and explained the situation, I then went home. I had been in the house for no more than an hour when Claire phoned me and told me that herself and a colleague had gone through the delivery they had received and what I required was there. She told me that if I could get up there before 8:00 pm it would be waiting for me on the counter. I did exactly that. I left Toolstation, went straight to my client's home and was able to bring their property back online. My client was delighted. None of this would have been possible had it not been for the truly exceptional staff at Newport Toolstation. They are absolute diamonds, their training and demeanour are old-school, that together with the banter combined makes shopping at this store a truly pleasurable experience. - Brendan
Can't fault this place on price, availability and friendliness of the staff. What isn't available to click and collect is usually at the branch the next day, if you order on time, and their delivery service is awesome.
Brilliant and friendly staff at toolstation Newport. Small problem with garden burner ordered. Dealt with on the spot with no issues. Faultless service! Well done team!
Not bad. A good store with friendly staff. Clean tidy and sometimes very warm in thr shop . Super heaters on the ceiling.
