Toby Carvery Norton Canes

Visited last night for a family meal, the place was very busy and there was lots of food on the floor around the servery and all over the sides. There wasn’t many staff on and the ones who were were rushing around looking unorganized. our waitress was Josie and she was very friendly and helpful. She recommend the cookie dough pie which was amazing! Good value for money, could do with checking gravy more often as we had to wait and dinner went cold quick

I’m not normally one to leave reviews but after such a lovely meal I couldn’t not. Atmosphere was lovely, not to long a wait for anything. food was fresh and the staff were very helpful and polite. Our waitress was josey and she recommend we try the cookie dough pie which happened to be my new favourite thing ever! Top marks Toby

Lovely carvery. We were given a plate and cutlery (child size) to put some food off ours on hers. Which was gr8. V helpful staff. Very enjoyable.

Busy, welcoming. Lovely atmosphere, friendly efficient staff. Good food at sensible prices. Would recommend without hesitation. Would advise booking as very popular.

Shocking! Went in for drinks, very tired looking in bar area and bar toilets, staff basically said they are only open for the carvery not interested in the bar part. At about 9.30pm the staff started doing the closing down jobs while we were still there drinking! They rang the bell for last orders at 10.30pm so we asked at 10.38 what time they closed and was told 10.30! How can you ring for last orders at 10.30pm but close at 10.30pm? Then to top it off, the manager locked the toilets so we couldn't even go to the loo before we left at 11pm once we'd finished our last drinks!!! Won't bother going there again for drinks or food with the horrendous experience we had tonight!
