Busy bank holiday with alot of reserved tables but they found us a space. Loads of great offers on for Food & Drink. Kids for £1 on Monday so that helped us out. Food was presented nicely & the waitress was very good & didn't forget us. Quality of food was great & felt stuffed afterwards. 5 Star from me.
Amazing 3 course Christmas dinner. Food was very good quality and generously portioned. Staff were friendly, fun and attentive. Such good value too. We loved it and it really put us all in the Christmas mood!
We were looking for a place eat during our travels, so popped into this pub. My partner and I both really enjoyed our meals as well as our nice cold beer, cheers. We will definitely be coming back.
The food was lovely, great value for money. The menu is very different and has a great selection. The staff were very friendly too.
I had an amazing time on Friday visiting the hussey for the first time. A lovely woman I think her name was Jess was very polite and spoke to me with respect and a smile which goes a long way with me! Definitely recommend a visit- prices are reasonable and staff are friendly.
After visiting the hussey on several occasions with family and friends and never being disappointed I decided to hold my 40th 25th birthday here, and I was not disappointed. The staff on shift were amazing, Thank You to Claire Jake and Julie can't remember the others sorry! I chose one of the newer buffet options of bacon and sausage baps which went down a storm and were delicious. I would highly recommend you to consider here to celebrate any special occasion. Thank you Tracey and Team Hussey
Ordered breakfast, came quick in hindsight probably because the food was under a keep warm before we arrived Sausages, over cooked half of each was burnt and chewy, bacon looked really nice but was like cardboard to chew. Eggs all over cooked to the point of the white being rubbery, child's had she'll in it see pic. Tomato's all heavily burnt but insides under cooked. Bread was stale throughout The hash browns, mushrooms and beans were all fine Didn't get table checked. When raised with a passing dark haired waitress, she said, "sorry about that", and not seeing her again till we left. This place has went down hill over the last year. We used to really enjoy it as a treat, but paying a premium for substandard cooking and service, such as this is very disappointing.
Cheap but nicely cooked and presented pub grub, served with a smile by Sophie, who brightened a dull day we were on our way home from hospital with her helpfulness, attention to detail and cheerfulness. You'd be hard pressed to find better service in the poshest of posh restaurants, so thank you to her and the whole team. Smoking is allowed in all the extensive outside area. We were fortunate that no smokers arrived but I can't help thinking this needs reviewing. The loos were spotless but the Gents could do with some minor maintenance. All in all, a very good experience.
Adequate meals, nothing special! look like frozen supermarket chips and onion rings good choice of meals. The interior is clean and spacious and nicely decorated. Staff are a bit slow to serve and never look happy! But not rude just not out going. Beer prices are slightly above average for area and sometimes we find some of the meals choices to have run out. Cheapish and cheerful ish!
Rang up short notice on a busy Tuesday afternoon asking for a reservation for 7. No problem at all. Staff were helpful and we were looked after despite how busy it was. Fine dining it was not, but for the price paid they it was more than good enough. WE will definitely be visiting again
