I recently visited the Hungry Horse restaurant and had a delightful experience. I ordered the burger and steak combo, and I was thoroughly impressed with both the quality and portion size. The meal was not only delicious but also well-priced, offering excellent value for the money.nnThe burger was juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection, and paired wonderfully with the succulent steak. The portions were generous, ensuring I left feeling fully satisfied.nnThe only downside to my visit was the wait time to order drinks, which took about 15 minutes. This delay was a bit frustrating, but the friendly staff and the quality of the food more than made up for it.nnOverall, I would highly recommend the Hungry Horse for anyone looking for a great meal at a reasonable price. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait when it comes to ordering drinks.
We went to The Hussey arms last night for our anniversary meal with our children. My food was fine but the others had beef burgers they was over cooked hard and tasted burnt they really wasn’t nice. No one actually finished their meal as it wasn’t enjoyable. £46.66 wasted.nnIt really put a dampener on our anniversary meal.
Great food and great service, the only thing that it down was it says its a dog friendly pub and it is but you have to sit outside which is fine when it's a nice day, today the weather wasn't too bad, great outside area and good play area for the kids, only 2 disabled spots weren't the best as they were both occupied and one car wasn't displaying any badge, so it was a bit awkward getting my daughter out of the cater and into her wheelchair!
Tasty pub food served promptly and quickly after ordering. No table service so either had to order through the app or at the bar, the service there was slow but we had vouchers so couldn't use the app. Drinks later ordered through the app came quickly. We ordered starters and main meals but I forgot to take photos of starters, we were all pleased with our choices. Tables and menus could have been a little cleaner but overall we all enjoyed our meal there. Fair sized car park and big beer garden with small play area for young children. Place was busy and popular. We'd happily eat there again.
We couldn’t fault our experience today. We wanted some good pub grub for us and our 2 kids. It cost £24 for 3 adult meals 1 shared for our kids. The pie was better than we’ve had at other pubs for double/triple the price.nnAs I was sitting the kids, I knocked the one plate and dropped some food on the floor. A minute later, Jamie turned up with replacements without us evening noticing he noticed / asking! Fab service.nnStacey and Angela were also lovely and helpful.nnWe hadn’t been for years cause it had gone massively down hill but will definitely return again. If you want cheap and cheerful but also delicious! food, definitely worth a visit.
