Absolutely lush. The service was great and the food was delicious. I love the old pub setting it had such a lovely cosy vibe to it. Staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. First time going but it won't be the last.
The staff are always friendly and helpful and this time it was no different. Our drinks order was taken soon after we arrived and there was no queue for the carvery so we got our food straight away too. We recently switched from being regulars at the Toby Carvery Woodford Green and we wouldn't switch back as Snaresbrook is the nicer of the two restaurants when you take into account the food, ambiance and layout of the restaurant.
Lovely Sunday roast! The staff are friendly, and the portion sizes are brilliant. A fair bit of seating and parking. Would recommend making a reservation as it can get very busy on the weekend. They have a good selection of drinks and a few deserts. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the local area and fancy a roast Parking: Fair bit of parking.
I was at this pretty place to have a meal and just relax. I wasn't mistaken when I decided to choose this one. Thanks to peaceful atmosphere you will feel comfortable here. I liked the food and how it looked like. Everything I ate was fresh and well cooked. Definitely I'd recommend you this restaurant. You can go out with your friends and family here or just have a great time alone. You won't regret!
Was there on a Saturday afternoon, it was very busy and naturally quite noisy but I didn't mind that too much. I felt that the meat sliced and put on the plate was noticeably less than I received before but the Yorkshire pudding and unlimited veg meant that I was still satisfied with the meal. Some of the veg needed refreshing but it was generally ok. The service was very good even thought the waitress seemed very busy. Parking: On site free parking available which is one of the reasons I go there.
Received a lovely warm welcome and shown to our table. Our carvery meal was delicious, the Chef was friendly and the food plentiful. I'm not going to any other Toby in future - well worth my 5* review. Thank you.
We went for lunch on Christmas Day. Were enthusiastically welcomed and shown to our table. Service very quick and friendly and not too long a queue at the Carvery. Served by a cheerful chef and as well as usual food on offer these were enhanced by the seasonal items. We very happy with our experience and would definitely do it again another year Parking: Plenty of room for parking
I come every time, 3/4 times a month, and it's always perfect service, food, atmosphere. Clean, welcoming, outstanding service, I am never disappointed when coming here. I love all the staff, they are patience, friendly. Food, always tasty. And I will definitely be continuing to be coming with my family.
Absolutely lovely welcome and walked me through the menu and was on hand to answer my questions on what ingredients were in the gravy , which kept me safe. The food was exceptional also the atmosphere was calm and enjoyable. This was my first time and I will look forward to using Toby Carvery when I get back home. Highly recommend thank you
Usual good choice and quality of food. The staff were very good with my disabled mother. They held open doors and helped walk her round to her table. I was also impressed by the staff and how they helped other elderly and disabled customers. The chef who was carving was very friendly and engaging. My only complaint would be about the state of the toilets. The smell is terrible. This is noticeable on every visit. Hand driers don't work and the wallpaper is peeling off the wall. Could really do with a good refurb.
