Everything was cooked to perfection! All the staff were lovely, even though it was busy being a Sunday. The choice of veg was huge and all so flavourful. We decided to go for a pudding which I can recommend if you have room!
This Toby was so much better than our usual one. We were on holiday and arrived after the lunchtime rush.nThe staff were welcoming, including the chef I'm not saying the chefs at our local Tobys are grumpy, but a smile goes a long way. My teens even commented on this.nWe were given a decent amount of meat again, unlike our local ones, and the veg was fresh. We finished the gravy off, but it was quickly replenished.nI can definitely recommend it.
The food is exactly what you would expect from a Harvester, fairly standard menu. What does stand out in the Carmarthen Harvester was the service. Really good service, great with kids. Also dealt with food allergies for the people on the neighbouring table really well.
We visited at 6pm on Father's Day and despite the restaurant being absolutely rammed we received a quick and friendly service. We had eaten within half an hour.nThey also had Turkey, sprouts, cranberry sauce and an optional extra of pigs in blankets. It was like having a Christmas dinner in June, it was so good! The mashed potato is amazing
First time here, and I will be eating here again.nWent along with the wife and kids.nIf I'm honest, I didn't expect a buffet style service.nThe kids' portion sizes at first looked very small but soon realised that they were adequate.nThe meats were beef, turkey, and gammon.n2 diffraction variations of roast potatoes plane and with beef dripping.nFew extras.nDrinks were OK and could get an unlimited refillable soft drink for £3.25.nBig selection from a self-service station.
