We visited Toby on Monday and found parking at the shopping centre to be hassle-free. The restaurant is located on the first floor with convenient lift access. We requested a window seat overlooking the High Street, which was accommodated perfectly. The music was chill and relaxing, and the staff were friendly and engaged wonderfully with the children. Even the chef was approachable, preparing food exactly to our requests with a smile. Pork crackling was amazing I haven't had them for ages.
Outstanding food every single time, we never have a bad meal. Meat and veg all cooked to perfection.nThe staff are next level and so friendly. Jasmine Evans served us today, they managed to squeeze me my partner and my son in last minute which we are grateful for. Will definitely keep coming back in the future.nnMany thanks to a fabulous team
Really cold food, had to ask them to microwave it, atmosphere was a bit loud and music was up a bit too high to hear our server who actually did a good job despite our complaints.nWe got ignored by another one but probably because of the loud atmosphere.nFood was less than standard and tasted really bad and cold, after microwaving you could taste it just wasn’t fresh.nI’m a regular customer here but I feel extremely let down and no real apology from the manager on duty, avoid this place on Saturday evenings for sure and I’ll probably never come back to this one as I’m leaving disappointed and upset.nLift out of order doesn’t help either, but understandable it’s not the places fault
Amber took us too our table very efficiently and politely. Asked if we require drinks and are we here for carvery. No waiting at tge carvery to be served,food was piping hot. Amber checked in with us to make sure everything was OK,which it was.nI don't usually do reviews,but on this occasion I needed to. Well done Amber your customer service was amazing.nTicket Grey 23
Me and my husband had the carvery and it was delicious, quick service, lovely staff, flexible with everyone’s needs, definitely recommend for a family meal out.
