This carvery is very modern decorated is located on the upper floor of a shopping centre. It has a lift if you need to come with a person with disabilities. The place accept bookings , service was nice. I must say they checked for allergies 4 times and made me sigh a form that I have been checked. The meat was nice the vegetables not that great maybe because was 6pm they have been there all day under the heat. They did not have enough gravy. They have a nice selection of drinks.You can pay with card or cash. Parking is not free.
Called here on Saturday evening 14th Jun... carvery for two but one was vegetarian meal!! Friendly staff made us feel welcome and were pleasant throughout the visit. When we went to the food counter my friend explained the desire for a vegetarian plate to have just vegetables. The considerate chap behind the counter immediately said that he would go and wash his hands to clear any remnants of meat product. Anyway, food was a great quality and cooked very well, full of flavour and my friend had a good explanation of any roasted veg that may have contained animal product... food was thoroughly enjoyed. Towards the end, I had a little too much meat left and decided o ask for a carry out bag which the staff went and got me two bags to be sure that juice did not leak. Well done to everyone that works at this premises and did a fabulous job of looking after the customers.nThe only negative issue was at the toilets.. several toilets provided for male and female and each cubicle has a handwash basin which is good.. but in the male cubicles, the basin was positioned in such a place that I had to do a contortion trick to test the seating arrangement. Definitely not a toilet set-up that could cater for a wheelchair user or a less-abled person, but, that said, there is a dedicated disable and wheelchair friendly toilet available, to complement the lift access for wheelchair users to this first floor establishment. All in all, a good experience and a congratulations to the staff for their kindness and pleasant attitude towards the customers.
We brought the whole family here and were blown away! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and they were super accommodating of our kids. The portions of meat were generous, the flavors rich, and the service outstanding. Even my picky 7-year-old went up for seconds! Highly recommend for family outings or celebrations.
Honestly it's with a heavy heart I write this because we started visiting February 2023 and the staff were brilliant and friendly with excellent service. But around September last year everything went down hill. Those staff had left or been replaced with people repeatedly with staff who don't care, there is no service basically unless you want an alcoholic drink from the bar even the carvery station stands empty of staff some that couldn't even understand which meat we wanted no matter how many times we tried to tell him he just kept saying yes yes there is nearly always at least 20-25% of the food expected to be out not served and what is served is awful these days the only safe bet for something nice is the gammon. We went a month ago and a was actually mad with myself for going again it was an abysmal experience absolutely zero atmosphere, uni treated staff that had no interest in cleaning, greeting custom, serving or anything else a real shame. Then to now wow
Delicious food but you need more staff! Running on a skeleton crew reflects on how tired they are and how little they talked to us. We didn’t even get a smile or a welcome. Would be 5 stars of the crew weren’t run ragged.
