Traditional German department store as very competitive prices in front of the competition. No doubt it is worth consulting the products and prices here practiced because they are very good. The service is excellent with staff always ready to help. In addition, it has a wide variety of products, both for women and men, young and old and still utilities for the home.
I picked up a pair of shoes from the clearance for £27 took them to the till to be told they were £55. I asked why there was a reduced sticker on and why they’re in the clearance if they’re full price. The girl then became rude and mannerisms changed. She started stuffing my clothes in the bag as fast as possible and flicking her rainbow hair over her shoulders every time she turned around huffing and puffing whilst telling me they’re full price that’s that. I then went to see another staff member who I was chatting with while trying the shoes on who also agreed they were reduced she was lovely and so helpful she radioed the girl on the till to let her know there were reduced but she had non of it. She said they weren’t reduced online so why would they be reduced in store. I came home and looked on the tk maxx website to see the shoes weren’t on the website at all! I have spent over £300 in there over the last week. I am a professional, if I went in after work suited and booted rather than in a tracksuit I would have been treat differently. Fair to say I will not be using this store again. The team valley branch offer a lovely experience every time it’s a shame it’s not the same for byker.
