Went in this evening to grab some chicken. Got 6 chicken fillets for 5 pounds. Menu said a salid garnish and dip. I never got offered a salad garnish and then when asked I chose mayo for the dip expecting to get a pot. Instead the box was opened and the chicken simply smothered with mayo. Soaking the top bits of chicken. Anyway never mind as long as they taste nice right? Bit into my first bit and it was like warm, dry and pretty disgusting. It had clearly been sat there for hours. I wish I would have gone McDonald's instead. POOR.
Sadly there's no way I can recommend this place. Whilst waiting for a tram I was told the food would be ready in 3 minutes, so I went ahead and ordered. Then a loud guy with a bike and diamond earring, in case anybody recognises the person came in and yelled to the owner they knew each other that he needed some food in a hurry because he was waiting for a tram. So the owner literally gave my food to this guy! I pointed out that I also was waiting for a tram and in a hurry, but they re-started cooking my food from scratch and told me it would be ready in a minute. A couple of minutes later they told me it would be 30 seconds. A minute later they eventually served me my food. I ran for the tram but it was too late, so I had to wait for another 12 minutes. To top it all off, the food was under-cooked to the point of being inedible: the chips were maybe bearable I'm being charitable - I didn't like them, and I'll usually eat anything! but the taste, look and texture of the chicken was nauseating. So I've paid city centre prices for disgusting food and awful customer service: never again.
Nice food and excellent customer service. Ive been here before and the food was nice, the food display always looks clean and fresh. I ordered some food as I was in a hurry and was slightly rushed in my ordering and telling the guy what sauces etc and toppings i wanted. Unfortunately I there was confusion with order, It was not their fault as i was rushing the guy. When I returned to the shop and all three workers apologised even though it was a simple error. the guys offered me a better meal for FREE even though I had ate part of the food already. On my way back to the shop a homeless man asked for the food i was carrying. As the workers were really apologetic and really went out of their way I told them it would good if I could get two meal, which they happily agreed as I told them of the homeless man down the street who wanted some food, So from a minor order error..I GOT A FREE MEAL AND SO DID THE HOMELESS MAN :-
Absolutely lovely place. Never had a bad order and service is always pleasant and kind. Fresh food, fresh ingredients, more than fair prices. Highly recommended.
