Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve

About

A nationally renowned nature reserve, a celebrated refuge for ducks, geese, wading birds, and the rare Avocet. The visitor centre has a shop & tea room.

Story

The nature reserve has footpaths and boardwalks that take you through a rare, unspoilt landscape. Our hides provide spectacular views of the birds and other wildlife. There is a charge to enter the reserve. The 'cottage hide' at the visitor centre, is free to enter so you can get a little taste of the reserve.

The visitor centre is free to enter, and includes a shop and tea room.

The shop is beautifully stocked with gifts, toys, wildlife books, bird seed, duck food, art work and more.

The tea room has great views and serves hot & cold drinks, paninis, sandwiches, soup of the day, jacket potatoes, cakes and icecreams. The perfect place to have a break and refuel.

Spent a beautiful day here. Sitting in the hides brings you really close to the birds of the season. Whilst walking the nature trails brings peace and calm. Even found many of the hidden fairy doors. A magical day out for the whole family.

Lovely nature reserve with several hides to watch the birds. Very friendly and helpful staff in the visitor centre. Entrance is ticketed (with a sticker) and binoculars are available to borrow at no extra charge.

Easy walking for all abilities. Plenty of variety, sea, beach over the road and the bird sanctuary to walk through. Cafe if you fancy a light meal or hot drinks/ice-cream van on the beach. Reasonable parking facilities. Good destination for all age groups. 😎🚣🏊🐥🐟🌲🥀

Lovely breakfast- With a view. I'm unable to walk around reserve but the cafe is worth a visit. There's disabled access and the cafe does gluten-free bread and cakes.
