Lovely day out for my mums birthday. We arrived about 9.30am and were welcomed at the desk by friendly reception staff, where they gave us robes, slippers and our schedule for the day. Everything was explained with a quick tour of the facilities. The toilets/changing rooms were lovely and clean. The heat and ice experience was better than we expected. The light lunch was very nice, no waiting around everything was well organised. We had a facial, a shoulder/arm massage and went in the mud chamber. Highly recommended for a relaxing day out with a parent, partner or friends. Next time I would definitely stay over night.
I would highly recommend an overnight stay here. I have been many times before with my mum and we will keep coming back. The staff are welcoming and professional, always willing to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. It was busier than usual, however the timings of our treatments, lunch and dinner were so well thought out it never felt crowded or rushed. The food was fabulous and the apartment was clean and comfortable. A special thanks goes to Faith and Krystal who both made my day with their treatments. Faith gives the best massages I’ve had in years! Thanks again to all the staff at Titanic for making our stay so relaxed and enjoyable. We will be back.
Really loved it. The heat experience was the best for me. And that's part of the deal. You get a whole apartment, ours had a balcony and another floor. It's relaxing all over. Oh my the food was spectacular! I could go just for the food, but I don't think that's an option. Despite my massage not being strong enough I still couldn't fault it.
It was fine but nothing special. Been to plenty of spas so speaking from experience. Outside hot tub was good but time limited so ruined the experience. Pool area and hot and cold areas are very separate from each other, so requires travel between the two areas. This was one of the worst factors about the spa experience. The relaxation room was hard to find and only had one 'deluxe' resting area sunken bed which we were lucky to use for a short time. The hot and cold experience grew tiresome quickly as there are basically 2 Swedish saunas, 1 cold room and 4 steam rooms. Little variety available. The drinks and canopies are in the main reception so you are basically sat in the hotel lobby in a robe which sounds ridiculous and it is. The route to the pool and changing is via a staff access route to the bar so again, no clear deliniation between spa and staff / other areas. Pool area was fine but a little cold to be comfortable. The gym was basic and not worth a visit.
Just back from a girls overnight stay at Titanic. We had a great time. Spa facilities are excellent, pool, heat & ice all great. The therapists for massage and facial superb. One of the best massages I've had. Accomodation was brilliant. We had a lunch and 2 course evening meal in our package and the food was top class. Bistro staff were friendly but a very young team who could do with a guiding hand to zone them as they were everywhere so missing or taking a long time to service drinks etc. Breakfast was OK although for a spa this level a fresh basket with fresh croissants bread etc is not out of the way. But plenty of milk Orange juice and so on. Definitely go back.
Amazing, spa weekend. Lovely clean apartment. Gluten free and nut allergy and a fussy eater all catered for. The staff were lovely, nothing was too much. The treatments were beautiful. Not too busy. Would Def go again for a Sunday stopover.
Me & my friend have had a fabulous time today with the pamper day spa package. We were met by lovely friendly staff & nothing was to much trouble. Lunch was excellent & my facial from Leah was amazing. Will definitely be returning very soon
Excellent. Facilities were 1st class. Heat & Ice experience is great. Swimming pool is a very good size, plently of sunbeds. Outside hot tub was great too. Food was lovely and all the staff are very professional and courteous. Had a fantastic day.
Was taken here for a late birthday treat. I was really looking forward to it. However I found the whole thing some what disappointing. We had been told over the phone to book treatments on arrival, however when we arrived we were told by another member of staff that all treatments are booked up and we should have booked earlier. We were entitled to a glass of prosecco with some canapes. When we asked for these we were seated in reception in our robes as the empty restaurant area was opening. It was completely empty and no queue yet we had to sit in a walk way where other people were constantly passing by. The canapes themselves were an espresso sized cup of red pepper soup, a lump of pastry with a 10mm cube of duck and then a mouthful of cheesecake. The facilities we had access to were glorified steam rooms and saunas, a pool and a gym with around 6 resistance machines in. Generally speaking most gyms I have attended have all these facilities, which for a month membership is less than this place charges for a few hours. The fire and ice experience which is steam rooms and saunas were disappointing, they all seemed to smell a bit like they needed a decent clean. Overall just a big let down.
The welcome and facilities are fine, but if you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil spa experience look elsewhere. We went into the various heat and ice rooms and every one was populated with groups of people talking loudly about their Christmas lists, health problems and love life. There is a 'Quiet Zone' sign but it was largely ignored. We left after 90 minutes, mentioned it to the staff who suggested they monitored the area but we saw no evidence of that. So okay if you want to go for a chat with your mates, but not for peace and quiet. Very disappointing at £100 each.
