First time ordering from here. 2 duck dishes but neither marked as to what they were. I had quoted the T numbers.nOne dish was acceptable but the other was full of fat skin. Disgusting!
A great takeaway, used it many times and always enjoyed it.nnOffers a good range or Chinese and Thai dishes.nnThe staff are really nice and the food has always been delicious.
Order placed prior to Christmas for delivery between 3,30 - 3,45 on Christmas day, £30,20 paid as deposit.nnOn arrival which was on time, the 2 packs of beancurd was inedible, this totaled £13,00nI called to inform them and request a replacement, only to be told they did not have anymore, on pressing further it transpired there was more beancurd but it was for other orders,nnHaving voiced my displeasure I asked for the beancurd to be refunded and brought by the delivery driver, they said 45mins, that was at 15,39, no show, have called back and was told driver had just left, I had to tell them the two packs of spring rolls were inedible as well, not to mention the free spring rolls were missing! asked for refund and was told the driver had left and that they were very busy,nnThe tiger in have totally destroyed a family Christmas meal and have done very little to rectify it, offering free beancurd next time was not helpful. Also rather presumptions as we will not use this incompetent chinease again, disgusted at the inability to provide edible food or rectify the situation,
Wonderful Takeaway: THE BEST FLAVOURS !!nWe always look forward to our trips in and around Cockenzie, made extra special, as we get the chance to order Chinese food from our favourite Tiger Inn Chinese/Thai takeaway !!!nWe had chicken and sweetcorn soup and beef on skewer starters, BBQ ribs all good and flavoursome. We also had chicken fried rice to share with our portion of beef/cashew nuts and chicken/cashew nuts. Generous portions, tender cooked meats, with added chinese vegetables to meals, delicious once again, the flavours are wonderful. I've tried a few Thai dishes on other occasions which were gorgeous and some tend to be more spicy, but u can say not too much chilli or spice and they make it milder. Always helpful lady on the phone taking orders. Very popular takeaway on weekends not surprisingly, as its always great food. Thanks once again !!! See you next time x x
Friendly counter staff. This place is cash only but they will take you order and you can go to the ATM while it's cooked.nFood green curry and red curry was quite watery and not much veg in it either. Hardly any onion or pepper. Jasmine rice was very good and a large portion.nA bit pricy for what it was but it was fresh.nJust remember to bring cash and not card.
