This used to the best fish and chips for miles. The fish was always cooked to order. It still is but not as good. The fish now is ether over cooked or not as fresh or something. Sorry guys you were the very best for miles around but now only average

Don’t get me wrong it’s a great chip shop. But when you find out your wheat intolerant and ask to order their ADVERTISED gluten free base, to be swiftly told they don’t do GF bases!!! False advertising much?

Just experienced the worst customer service at this establishment.....when you order your name is taken and order slip put on holder. While my name was on the first order taken, customer no. 2 was served first. When no. 3 was then served I queried this with assistant pointing out I had ordered first. Instead of an apology I was told 'well I dont suppose 10 seconds makes much difference'. When I pointed out another customer had also been served before me I was told 'well you should have piped up sooner'. 'Are you really arguing with me about this?' The assistant certainly would benefit from training in basic customer service skills, and I certainly won't be returning to be treated in this manner.

I have to say, no matter what the food is like it’s the service that counts as well. The younger blonde lady was extremely rude to my friend and even ignored her when she asked her a simple question. She was rude to her staff which made us all highly uncomfortable. My friend who she was rude to was so disappointed that she actually walked out and didn’t buy anything. She was then rude to me and to be quite honest, I would not come back here purely because of that. If you like respect when you are ordering food and asking nice questions then don’t come here because you won’t get it. Very disappointed.
