Great food great service. The waiter introduced himself which gave us a personalised dining experience and allowed us to gain a rapport with them. The location is a little out of the ordinary and isn't somewhere you would expect to get a meal of this kind. The interior is warm and comfortable and feels quintessentially Italian which enhances the dining experience. We dined as a group of six and we did have to book ahead to make sure there was space available. I had pork but looking around the table I now can't wait to go back and try some of the pasta dishes which looked authentic. The wine list is reasonable with prices to suit most pockets and from what I read appear to be chosen to compliment the food they serve.
Disappointing visit - we had booked for 6.30pm and were shown to our table and order taken. An hour later we had still not been served, along with many others in the restaurant. We asked the casually dressed lad/waiter and he said he would find out. Answer came back that it would be around 5 mins and apologies for the delay but one of the chefs was ill. Another table was offered free drinks, as were a couple of guys ordering a take-away who had been kept waiting, but we were offered nothing. Finally the food arrived and it was, at best, average. There was no further apology from anyone. If there is an illness which will cause delay and sub-standard food, I think it would be only fair to mention this at the point of arrival. Having seen the whole meal through, it would have been appreciated if there was a proper apology with perhaps an offer of free drinks for our next visit. Unfortunately, after this visit, there will be no next visit!
Not good. The kitchen only seems able to cope with one order at a time so the service is slow, although the waiter was efficient. When our food eventually arrived my pizza had a hair in it that had come from a part of the body other than the head. I always try to support local business but I'll not be eating here again.
Seems to have gone down hill recently. Went on with a group of 6, waited ages for a garlic bread, and nearly an hour for the main, 2 pizza's that were ordered were just like dough, soft and manky, and a lasagna had about 2 pieces of meat in it, we complained got no apology just got £20 off the bill, never again!
Absolutely great! We booked out the whole restaurant for our birthday celebration and it was brilliant. Great food, great interior and even better service. 100% recommended
Went early in the evening, only one other party in there. Very fast service, excellent food. Will definitely be going back!
Great food, great service. Staff very nice and food was quick. Would suggest booking in advance as the restaurant is very small and gets booked up quickly.
Table of 20, we were well looked after. Food was served hot and at the same time. Drinks were kept topped up. Fantastic service.
Had a lovely meal When I finally decided what to have lots of choice. I can highly recommend the salmon in cream sauce.
Allways good everytime I have been there good friendly staff ,you can eat without feeling as if you have to rush your meal so someone else can have your table
