We ate at Thyme & Co just last night. They offer a Pizza menu on a Saturday night only and are closed for late dining during the rest of the week. We shared a garlic bread as starter, my partner had a pepperoni pizza & I opted for the Dexter beef burger, which was absolutely superb. The beef was beautifully flavoured. They have no alcohol licence so it's Bring Your Own and there was no corkage fee. All in all, good atmosphere the restaurant was very busy as of 18:30, good service and nice food. I've had Dexter beef before but never in Burger form and it was delicious. Recommended.
Lucky that the cafe is somehow open on Wednesday, contrary to what’s written on the map or the board outside.nnProbably my first time seeing a latte art in a glass glass. Rich and nutty.nnCroissant is warm, stretchy, and buttery. Sausage roll is pretty tasty and flavorful, not too oily either.nnOpen prawn sandwich is delightful. The prawn salad is light and fresh, with crunchy peppers and a hint of spiciness. Wheaten bread is one of the best I’ve had. Moist yet full of grains and only mildly sweet. Just wish the potatoes were warmed too.nnLemon chicken is also quite good. The tortilla wrap is especially nice, soft and elastic.nnFriendly staff and cheap price.
Was excited to try the lemon drizzle & the almond & coconut gluten free cake, both were stale & hard, disappointing as I couldn't wait to try this cafe. For a party of 5 service was slow, we received our order at different times, coffee was finished before our cake arrived. Unfortunately staff were unorganized.nOverpriced products.
Love everything about this place. Nest coffee in ballycastle in my opinion. Had a bacon butty at the weekend. Simply toast, butter and bacon. Delicious. Well worth a visit for their cakes too.
Pizzas absolutely delish, best we've had in years. Chocolate brownie sundaes to finish it all off so nicely. Very reasonable pricing. Will definitely go back again next time in Ballycastle / Antrim Coast for holiday road trip.
