Very quiet. We were the only customers. Not very clean. Strong smell of bleach. We would not return in a hurry.
We had the best experience in here. Great draft ales and beers. Being tourists and visiting the Lake district, foreigners and coming from London, we enjoyed a chat with the lovely owners and had the best time! Thank you. You made our holiday much nicer!

Lovely pub , very spacious inside , relaxed atmosphere.
Great place. Best in town and owners are friendly who create a great atmosphere with regular live bands at weekends. Popular with parties and fantastic buffet option.
