We went for Valentines and the service was amazing. My partner eats meat, but I am vegan and the choice was excellent. The staff made a really good recommendation for a vegan dish based on my preferences. I really think this is the best meal out we have had in years and potentially the best Indian food I have had ever!
Absolutely the best food & service. We first went here just after Christmas and I think we’ve been four times since. Even our two young children love it. I always try and have something different every visit, I’m yet to find my favourite as I’ve loved each and every dish. The naan bread tastes just as good as when I visited India and that was phenomenal.
What a hidden gem! One thing I love is a curry & I visited here whilst visiting family. I have to say that the food was absolutely delicious, cooked with totally fresh ingredients, with ample meat content, bursting with flavour & the Garlic Chili Masala's heat was just right! The sauce was fresh, not watery & well worth the price, its nice finding somewhere that is passionate about their food where you can buy quality, you get what you pay for & you get your worth here, yummy! Staff are soooo lovely, genuine people. See you next time I'm up here.
After being a regular when Bari’s restaurant was in Carlisle before closure it’s great to see his establishment open again in a new location. Visited in February and were made so welcome. Great food, great service, fantastic homemade deserts, lovely new location. Looking forward to our next visit, well worth the journey out there.
Fantastic in every way. Fantastic food, lovely location and the most friendly accommodating staff who not only fed and watered us well, but gave half our party a lift home when our car broke down. The meal would get 5*, but they deserve 12!
Very nice food tasty very freshly cooked. Service was dreadfully slow. Took an hour to produce the poppadoms. Then another 30 minutes for the starters. The food was worth the wait very very slow.Food: 5/5

Lovely staff!! Ordered a few curries and sides and they were all great. Amazing spices and flavour in the biriyani. Chicken falls apart perfectly cooked. Restaurant in the making looks very nice and polished, we can tell it’ll look great. Look like hard working people which is shown in their food!! Also got a discount because we picked up the food Just wondering if you have any gluten free options for future use? Many thanks.
Food was reasonably good but the prices were crazy expensive to say it was a restaurant surrounded by fields in Cumbria. no city business taxes. I've paid less for dishes in the centre of Paris. Nice restaurant but owners need to be more realistic with the 'nickel and diming' pricing, and due to this, I probably won't return.
Not situated in a main town area, but well worth the small trip. Owners were great, food was amazing, the 8oz Fillet medium/rare was cooked to perfection, i'm sure it was more than 8oz. The chips and garnish was superb which made the meal so much better. Very reasonable prices as well. One thing though, don't ask for your steak well done! In joke.
