We stayed here with Pauline and Dave, for a long weekend for a couple getaway. Everything was perfect. Unlike other B&Bs we've been to, here we were in someone's lovely home, we felt like a guest, and part of their family and home. Our room was fantastic, with beautiful views and was very clean, smelled lovely, and had everything we needed. I'm actually very sensitive to smells, even in the nicest places I tend to struggle with the slightest smells in the rooms, but here I just couldn't believe how lovely everything smelled, from the entrance to the room, to the bathroom, to the towels, bed sheets, everything was very clean and nice. The morning breakfasts were the highlight of our stay. The table was set so beautifully, with lots of yummy stuff to have, apart from the stuff everyone got, there was a little menu to choose your breakfast from. Pauline really knows how to make omelette, the best omelette of my life, she's a great cook, and Dave looked after us at the table very attentively. He's very sweet. We felt very well looked after. We also had amazing chats at the breakfast table, with Pauline giving us advice about where to go and what to visit and how to get the most out of our stay. They also told us lovely stories about their travels. They are a very talented family, very down to earth and very welcoming. I wish them and their family a happy and healthy life with good business. I hope to visit them soon again.
We had the most amazing stay at the farmhouse and the hosts were absolutely lovely ! The rooms were extremely clean, smelt very fresh and made for an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable stay! The breakfast in the morning was prepared beautifully with a great deal of care and attention to detail, this really shows and adds to the overall experience. The farmhouse is also in close proximity to the Cragside estate, only a 10 minute drive, another plus as this a massive attraction in the area. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay at this cosy B&B!
Our stay here was just fantastic, I couldn't fault them at all. The family is very lovely and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful with great views. The breakfast is homemade and very yummy. There is a lot to see around there. Would definitely recommend it and will be back.
The house is very comfortably laid out and the hosts really friendly.nThe location is superb for exploring and the scenery is really chilling, the surroundings and proximity to Cragside and the coast is super.
Excellent value with very friendly hosts. We will definitely be back again. There are lovely rooms with absolutely amazing views. Breakfasts great too, I highly recommend the omelettes for breakfast as they are the best that I have ever eaten.
