Lovely pub in a small village. It has a open fire so after a brisk walk or cool night call in. Owners are always on hand. They have a beautiful addition to the pub Eric who's 8 month labrador he's friendly and wants a pat( if your not of a animal nature no worries his dad tells him off. Call down one afternoon the foods lovely and the Christmas menu is very well priced

Lovely friendly welcome, it's my local village pub and although I don't call in much Mike and Sharon are always welcoming. This visit and the last one have been while my husband has been in Castle Hill Hospital in Hull. They told me anything they could do to help they were willing to which I found really helpful to know.
