Story

Thorpeness Emporium is now housed in a new purpose built building which was completed in 2013. It is all on the ground floor and is perfect for wheelchair and pushchair access. We have an excellent collection of fabulous traders offering a diverse mix of vintage and new, retro, antique and curiosities - you never know what you are going to find! Open from 10am 7 days a week (Closed Mondays in Jan and Feb). We have a cafe attached to us too so when you need refreshing you can have a tea, coffee or perhaps light lunch.

Good food and nice atmosphere. Can be very busy during holidays, but if the weather is warm-ish or you're dressed for a walk along the beach, then its nice to sit outside and watch the world and their dog go by.

Nice place to look around full of things from days gone by. Have to say they never drop the price on any items, in this day and age you would think they could always knock a couple of pounds off to secure a sale.
