Thank goodness places like this still exist.  They have a huge stock of parts that they have removed from vehicles.  I needed a part for a 26 year old vehicle.  The dealer wanted over £200 for a new part.  I got one from S & I Thomson which was for a different vehicle, but it will be easy to adapt for my purpose.  It cost me only £3.  I am obviously delighted.

I bought a car (Toyota Mr2)  from a guy called Kiffy that works in this scrap yard. Think he must have sold it for scrapyard as I see they sell cars. logbook wasn't in his name also, and had tear off bit top left removed. Usually done when it's been sent to scrap yard. I never knew this at the time. 
He said  the car was great car no issues as I said my 4 year old son would be going into it. I've now replaced discs front and back also pads front and back. Handbrake cable both sides, also had to replace o2 sensor. Also car was dirty when he turned up. He said the roads where dirty. But after cleaning the car when I got home I notice marks all over the paint work of the car,  so him keeping it dirty hod marks £70 to get it sorted with a professional valeted.  Now engine management light is on and I need to replace Catalytic convertor. Also abs sensors need replaced front and back. I've spent over £700 so far! 
I tried calling to discuss but he put the phone down on me. 
I WOULD NOT BUY ANYTHING ESPECIALLY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF AND JUST WARNING ANYONE TO WATCH WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I WOULD HAVE RATED NO STARS BUT OPTION NOT THERE.

If you need any second hand spare parts for your car this is one of the best places to go in the Scottish Borders. Prices are not to bad.
