We have used Thompson Wilson over the past 18 months, and have to say the experience has been awesome, from communications to engagement. Always willing to help and support. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and certainly use again in the future. Having read various reviews, I do think a number of negative reviews all start with the tenants behaviour and relationships they may not have built. We were normal honest tenants who had everyone's interest at heart - and Thompson Wilson are the same and certainly not looking to take deposit monies - but tenants do need to understand the T&C's of an agreement and not be so quick to blame others. Well worth our 5 star rating for this letting agent.

Do not use this estate agent. Highly recommend you don’t use Thompson Wilson Lettings. They are happy to correspond when they take payments from you. But if you have issues such as heating they will not communicate. They will deduct from your deposit at any available chance. The staff are generally uneducated and can’t put an email together to save a life. The owner is a crook like the over reviews state, he’s a spineless weasel and a small man in every way if you know what I mean. If I had found these reviews before I found the property I would have never moved in and would have found a cheaper more affordable property. All they care about is making money. A couple we met who lived on the bottom do not like being tenants with Thompson Wilson but don’t have a choice as they have limited options. They have young children, radiators are not adequate meaning the children have to live in sub-zero conditions. PLEASE AVOID.

Don't waste your time with Thompson Wilson lettings. After viewing the property I decided to go for it- even though it seemed overpriced. Agent SHAUN W. BETCHLEY promised to call me back next day to discuss details. He didn't bother... I called the agency twice and he was always 'out of office' and nobody else was able to help... Pathetic... So hard to even drop me an e-mail with refusal??

Thank you so much to all the staff at Thompson Wilson Lettings, I would highly recommend using this letting agency. After having various problems with my landlord John, Caroline and their staff went above and beyond to resolve problems that occurred. I have left previous property, my deposit was returned promptly. I moved out of the area but would have definitely used Thompson Wilson again. Ignore negative feedback, I suspect they may have been 'problem tenants'!!!!
