Lease car went in for an annual service and everything seem ok. Few days later tried to phone Thompsons to tell them that the car was leaking engine oil. Phoned and got no answer so phoned the leasing company who called out the AA recovery who said that the car's oil filter cap (due to it splitting) had not been changed when a new oil filter had been fitted and that was the reason it was leaking oil.

Thompson's is a fab garage. I have always brought my cars here and also had top service from Jan and Nick, I would never take my car anywhere else.

Concerned about giving a good review in case he gets too busy and I can't get a booking. An excellent garage especially if you are looking for a BMW specialist.  I like doing my own routine maintenance, but if it's beyond my ability to do the job I have been using this garage for years. Nick is a top bloke with an ace team working for him.

Rang for a service, ordered 4 new tyres a week in advance. First disappointment was that 2 had been used the day before so I had to settle for cheaper alternatives. I had a problem with the car shaking in idle which couldn't be checked due to no fuel for a test drive - it's in idle. Charged me for a fuel filter and told me it was replaced and may resolve my issue, investigated it myself and the fuel filter hadn't been changed. I rang millfield for a quote on a new one but they then accused me of not collecting the one from the day before (when the garage should have replaced mine). Will not be using again and gives no hope that a service was even carried out while they had the car.

Thomson's ,very nice and friendly can't falt anything they do ,will be going back .
But not to Watson's very rude boss and bad language yuk .
