Excellent Service - Highly Recommended I bought a car. It was very reasonable and the car sales people were very friendly and honest. No sales pressure. They provided me the accurate info over the phone about the condition of the car, As I was 245 miles away. We also asked for the car to be delivered and the delivery was all arranged with efficiency. I would highly recommend to anyone. Friendly, reliable, personalized service.
Good selection of motors, all looking brightly polished and waiting to be sold. We had seen a car that we wanted on the Internet and we weren't disappointed when we saw and tried it. We agreed a price, and the salesman sorted out all the appropriate paperwork so that we could drive the car away, same day. Great service. Thank you.
Excellent Service AMA Motors staff was professional and very helpful in selection of the car. I part exchange my car and got a very good value for my car. The new car was in a good condition and the process was smooth and easy. I am happy with my new purchase. Highly recommend this dealership very nice lads and helpful
Don't bother with this glorified scrap heap but if you do decide to book and see a car expect to waste your journey as it will be sold the first person they can deceive into handing over their money. The majority of cars seem to be in an unroadworthy condition with faults covered up instead of fixed.
Initial enquiry made and responded to quickly. Sent a relative to look at the car and he was offered a test drive as well as being given opportunity for a thorough check over of the vehicle. Watch this space........ jury is currently out depending on how they react to the issues the car has.
DON’T DO IT!!! They will pretend there is interest in the car you are viewing so you put a deposit down. Then you’ll never see that money again. The cars are dirty and the two guys look scruffy. Also their office is a dump. Very unprofessional and reeks dodgy from the get go. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Don’t give them your money. They’re good at talking rubbish.
Avoid at all costs, the reviews speak for themselves.. Bought an orange MG3 2014 plate from AMA Motors, inside and outside was lovely and clean, initially the car drove nicely on the test drive, the salesman seemed nice enough at the time. I agreed to the asking price £4,395 but then told the warranty for a year would be £1000 which seemed extortionate! I accepted their 1 month engine and gearbox only warranty that's included with the sale. After a week of owning the car it then stopped working and wouldn't turn on. Initially I thought it could be a battery issue so asked if they would pay for a new battery considering the car was only bought a week ago? The best they would offer is 50% towards the cost, after looking closer it was clearly not a battery issue so the seller suggested getting it seen at a local garage as the car was not starting as it should and unable to drive it back to Peterborough 70 miles away from me. My local garage suspects it was a cylinder leak but would require further investigation that they wouldn't be able to perform there. Fortunately the car was occasionally starting so I told the dealer after two weeks of owning the car I'd like to return it for a full refund as the car sold to me was not fit for purpose. The dealership did offer to inspect the fault but I didn't want to take any chances especially as I only had the 1 month warranty. After lots of phone calls to them, conversations with Citizens Advice and too much stress, a refund was agreed. AMA "fixed" the issue apparently it was just a loose battery terminal lol despite me being clear I was not interested in having the fault fixed while owning the car and just wanted a full refund, they then withheld £450 haggled down to £400 lol of my money claiming it was to contribute towards the mileage driven charged at 60p per mile and they even said they usually charge £1 per mile!!, cleaning fees, admins fees.. the list goes on. Had I had more time to fight for my money I would have taken this matter to small claims court but I was in need of a car, and just fed up dealing with them so I begrudgingly accepted. So please, save yourself the time, stress and your money and shop elsewhere! The aftercare is shocking and you'll just lose money if anything goes wrong with the car..
Bought a vehicle in good faith over the phone with a view to having a home delivery. Seller called explaining a fault on the car and offering an immediate refund. After talks with staff I decided to take my money back. Bottom line, they didn't want to sell me a bad car. They had the opportunity to bodge it and deliver to me. They didn't. I have since been fully reimbursed. No issues.
Just saw a story where a guy drove 9 hours only to find his dodge nitro had a smashed rear window and they wouldnt lower the price after advertising it on autotrader. Was about to buy a vehicle but after seeing that I am not going to do that now!
Avoid!!!! Bought a car which I was told had just been serviced got it checked out myself and there were so many faults it was basically a death trap. They refused to fix it so I had to go through citizens advice to get my money back and they still owe me £300 which they are refusing to pay! Now I’ve had a letter to say they are trying to sell the same car which I doubt they’ve fixed.
