As well equipped as a prison, but not as clean..  Self-catering apartment? The kitchen was so sparsely equipped there wasn’t even a plug for the kitchen sink.. How about a washing up bowl? No. Oven gloves? No. Dish towel? No. A grill for the grill pan? No, just use the oven shelf to cook your bacon.. and turn it with your fingers as there’s nothing else. The guest guide advised me to refer to the ‘house rules sheet’ by the door, but that was missing too.  Aside from this, the apartment was nothing like as advertised in the pictures which showed patio doors onto a balcony. It was located at basement level in what appeared to be a former plant room, with the bedroom window opening directly onto smokers corner in the yard.. exactly what you need when all the drunks roll back at 4am and spend an hour outside your open window yelling at each other. And you’ll need to have the window open, as the electric only night store heating system will have the place like a sauna and you’re not allowed to turn it off. Fixtures and fittings were either broken, dirty, or both. The kettle was full of scum and the dining table wobbled like jelly. Goes without saying that I won’t be going back.
