I, too, got excellent advice by Mr Ravi twice during holidays and it is true - their customer service is outstanding. If I could, I would take the whole pharmacy, staff and all, home with me for good! (It's worth wandering in just for the amazing historic features they have kept around from the original pharmacy that served there during the last century.) Long may it continue.

I arrived in Ambleside without my prescribed medication. The pharmacist and staff could not have been more helpful. They spoke to my home pharmacy and arranged to have my prescription faxed over, so that I could obtain an emergency supply for my stay in the Lakes. Excellent!

I had come to the lake district for a weeks holiday with a group of friends, however the cottage we were staying in had allowed pets! The combination of that and it being a bit of an older cottage triggered my allergic asthma, and I hadn't got my inhalers with me! After going to boots, a medical centre, phoning my own doctor and phoning 111, no one quite understood the urgency of my predicament and my worry like Ravi did at bell pharmacy in Ambleside. He was great, and helped me get my medication pretty painlessly, as he could see how upset I was getting. I understand there are rules and procedures to follow especially with medication, but surely everyone has the ability to apply discretion and look out for their customers needs, which is exactly what Ravi did. I can't thank him enough!

I arrived in Ambleside without my daily medication. I can't thank the pharmacist and assistants for their help. They took all my details and what I needed. They contacted my GP surgery and phoned me when I could collect my medication. If you are in Ambleside I would highly recommend this pharmacy for their helpful friendly and efficient service.

While on holiday in Ambleside I have used this pharmacy to receive two prescription items for myself and later for my 4 month old child. Such superb customer service, especially from the male pharmacist. Would highly recommend.
