Lovely pub near Southwark, great for a few drinks or watching the football. Came here for a man utd game, wasn't much seating and because of the angle of the TV, we had to stand. Lots of cool features like tablets on the table to order from and taps to pour your own beer. Food was good and reasonably priced.
First time visiting, really welcoming bar staff and a very chilled atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon. Will be back. Decent pub food menu, and neck oil / gamma ray on tap.
Don’t go there expecting a fancy place that’s spotlessly clean, serving gastro pub food. Expect a boozer where you have your own table with Neck Oil on tap, iPads to order everything, burgers, sport on big screens/projectors with a lively crowd and friendly staff.
Seemed like a basic pub with long waiting times for food when I visited. Much space and seating available upstairs, good for family/large party gatherings. Generic classic/pop rock music at comfortable volume throughout visit. Although lacking character, it's a good option if looking for a random/generic pub in the area.
A super little place between Blackfriars and Waterloo bridges on the south side of the river. Unusual in that it has draught beer taps at some of the tables for all the wannabe bartenders. Also provides entertainment in the form of darts and foosball. Good cold beer served swiftly and happily. A good place for a beer and a laugh.
Really cool pub - but going there for lunch really ruined our day. We had 3 meals ordered together, the first two game with at least 15 minutes between them, the third one never came. A fourth meal we ordered for our table at the same time came at least 30 minutes after the first two. There were 3 tables around us, who seemed to be experiencing the same issues. When we asked the solemn waitress what was going on, we were given "we are rushed off our feet" - which was interesting, as she was stood on her phone by the kitchen the whole time. We ended up having to leave without the 3rd meal - so my friend didn't get lunch - and we were given no apology. Such a shame as it's a really nice pub, and would have been perfect for us to continue to go to for lunch - but never again. Oh, and to top it off - the meals so bad! Not worth waiting for. Maybe if you didn't overcook your chicken to the driest it can be, the meals would go out on time.
This pub is such a gem in Waterloo, it’s so underrated. Best place to watch the football we watched all the England games for the World Cup. Had a burger every time and they are DELICIOUS. Better than independent places, texture was perfect and tasted so nice. Often drop in on a Sunday but the vibes on a Saturday night are really fun, even after England lost we stayed for a while and really enjoyed it. Great bar
Great place to have a drink or two. Option to have a tap on the table. 2 bars, one upstairs and one downstairs. Great lunch deal, one burger veggie available side and beer for ten quid. Fast service. Bathrooms available
Six years ago I went on a journey to Mordor, it was difficult but I made it. That journey was a rainbow in comparison to trying to dine at this shambles of an establishment. A booking for 12, you would expect a table...but no no, we give you a wall, a wall is enough for your friends. what is a facial expression between friends, the connection with wood is more important than friendship
Lovely pub, great for sports watching. Food is reasonably priced and tastes good we took burgets. Also the atmosphere is nice and people friendly
