We popped in for Thursday curry night and it didn't disappoint. The lady who served me who i think may have been a manager was brilliant, she was on the ball with serving me and putting my order through, and i could tell she was working hard because didn't stop rushing around.nThe food came out in super quick time.nToilets were clean.nI would definitely return to this whetherspoons.
I called in here for breakfast. The standard bacon and egg breakfast was good, freshly cooked, and served within minutes of me ordering it. Helpful staff too.nI returned in the afternoon to enjoy a pint sitting at the front of the pub, in the sunshine. Great location and outside seating areas.
I ate here with my family over a weekend recently on three consecutive nights. The service was swift and friendly and the food was delicious and a consistent standard each night. It was extremely busy but the staff worked hard to ensure that tables were tidied swiftly whilst being friendly and professional. After a mix up one evening with a meal, the issue was swiftly rectified and didn’t affect the enjoyment of our meal. Allnin all, a nice building and atmosphere to eat in, with delicious food and friendly and professional staff, highly recommended.
It was a busy Saturday afternoon and we ordered some food at the tap and got served in 5 minutes. Food tasted lovely, great selection of beers too for a very reasonable price!
A lovely characterful building in a fairly picturesque setting. Interesting structural lighting adds to the feel in one section but other areas also have different ambience depending on your mood - and table availability I guess! Male toilets to one side of the buiding, female and disabled at the other. Usual Wetherspoons fare which was served relatively quickly and there are two coffee machines available.
