Wow.. What an extremely friendly hotel. My dear wife and myself had the pleasure of staying at the Woodside Hotel on a Saturday night. Very respectable price, inc breakfast for 2, in comparison to "other" nearby establishments. If you're on holiday in the Stirling area and looking for a very friendly, clean and respected hotel, then stay at the Woodside.. We guarantee you wont be disappointed. John and Linzi Sutherland.

We both have been coming by here for be years now,balthough be rather dated, you cannot fault be the food, staff always attentive, and ample parking.

My family and I stayed at the Woodside for 8 wonderful days. The rooms were cozy and clean, food was fantastic, and the entire staff were very welcoming and pleasant. They didn't mind when we wanted to grab a few things for breakfast and head out early and we're always excited to hear about what we'd done for the day. Connie, Suzane, and Julie are fantastic and always made us feel at home. The decor is simple and the rooms smaller than mine at home, but the spaces downstairs are a great place to hang out, grab a pint, and meet the locals and other travelers. The Woodside seems to be a mix of these two as it is very near the shops and there's a ten minute walk to the castle. We'll definitely be back and I miss it already.

Nice little place to stay if your travelling through don't expect the Ritz but its warm, clean, freindly & reasonably priced.
