An amazing experience for us. We went on a Sunday so the carvery was out and believe me when I say that their gravy is to die for. The food was delicious and the hostess and chef were very hospitable and kind. It's got two chargers for electric cars and an outdoor play area with an undercover dining area too. Perfect place for the weary tourist. The building itself is large and very cosy with rustic decor. Highly recommend if you need a place to charge your car on the road or if you just fancy a hot meal with good company. We'll become regulars when we come visit our friends!
A lovely relaxed family pub. Really good portions so we didn't have room for pudding. Everyone really enjoyed their well cooked and presented meals. Spacious inside with tables a good distance from each other so we could talk easily. If you have young children there is a nice little play area outside where adults can sit nearby and supervise. Something for everyone really. Adults enjoyed it, kids loved it. It's certainly our favourite and worth the travel from Bournemouth. Thank you to all the lovely polite and helpful staff. We are an autistic family but fitted in well and were made to feel very welcome
Fab place to eat. Really great eatery. Staff were all really friendly and as a customer I appreciate and valued their opportunities given to younger waiting staff. All of whom were doing a sterling job. Food was great. All served hot and tasted delicious. Very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.
We like coming here to eat, we always seem to be able to walk in and find a table which is great especially with our 18 month old daughter planning ahead can be awkward. The pub itself is clean, the food speed and availability is good. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s also so easy to order online! We definitely will be coming back time and time again
As a group of four we all said that welcoming in to our table was quick and efficient, after looking at the menu proceeding to the bar to order was easy and greeted with a nice attitude. The food came to us with just a small waiting time. On reading the menu I noticed that 2 for 1 had finished and the prices were down to near enough the single price I think that is better.
It was such a lovely family we all enjoyed it. The pubs gives a lovely cosy feeling and feels very family friendly all the staff made us feel very welcome and we’re happy to sort out any problems we had quickly without any fuss. The food was spectacular and it felt like traditional pub food which is good to see nowadays. Our server Saturday night her name was Millie was very welcoming and polite which made us feel comfortable and she was very helpful. All the staff were great though we will be back!
Lovely pub, friendly, room inside and outside, value is good, 2 for 1 on main meals, enjoyed it very much
Lovely place, with happy and helpful staff especially Jessica from the bar. The food was lovely and the portions ideal, we didn't have room for dessert we had the cowboy Burger, rump steak, and the Ultimate Burger. Very clean and welcoming. Use regularly and will continue to do so.
We went today. The burger and chips were okay. But the desserts weren't great. The vanilla ice cream was like soup and tasted disgusting- even my 4yro said the same and he loves ice cream. Some staff didn't seem to care but others were nice. On the site it says you get a burger and drink for £9 something on a Tuesday yet the staff said it wasn't for their pub. We said well it's on your site and they wouldn't honour the price! You can't advertise something and not give it to people! Your staff need to be more aware of what offers you are doing as we paid nearly half again of what we should have! Outdoor area is great
We chose to stop here because of the electric charging point which worked without problem. We were welcomed in, with our 18 month old son who was perfectly catered for with the under 5s menu. The food was exactly what we needed on our journey and the place was warm, clean and welcoming
