I was fortunate enough to enjoy the live music when I visited on a Friday evening. Plenty of space to enjoy or avoid the live entertainment. Later on a slightly worse for wear chap tried to take over the performance. I might go back and try the carvery
Fantastic pub in the Ringwood local area. The food is good, staff very friendly and they have regular events that bring a the community spirit. Their “South Africa Day” event was brilliantly attended, all be it a bit overwhelming for the staff. I don’t think they realised how popular it would be, but they managed well and was a great success.
Had a very tasty meal last night. The menu has been greatly improved by new the owners. Good to have a good variety of food with assorted potatoes not just chips with everything. Would recommend the Vegetable Lasagna ,garlic bread and salad. It would be a good idea update Menu on website . We'll be back
Ordered Ploughman's and was not disappointed. Only downside was margarine not butter for the roll. Nice setting inside. Clean. Nice place for a spot of lunch.
Call here last night. The service was great, all the staff very welcoming. The food was gorgeous, no faults at all. Reasonable cost for a good portion. Drinks were well priced. The entertainment was a man singing, great voice and great selection of music. Will definitely call again when I'm in the area
Lovely carvery on Sunday. The three slice standard was enough for most people. They had 4 different meats. Vegetables were well prepared, hot and tasty. Good value too.
Lovely Sunday lunch here yesterday and dog friendly as long as you eat in the bar area or in the beer garden. Choice of 3 meats and help yourself to as many vegetables as you'd like - great selection!
The food is pretty good, certainly better than I expected. Since we had two tables of people they had real problems figuring out the bill. Ultimately the manager straightened it out. After talking to my group, they agree with me that 4 stars is right.
We are a bunch of car enthusiast friends who have come together for an event at Beaulieu and I booked a large table due to the Premier Inn being unable/unwilling to accommodate our meal sitting. With live music in the background this was a great setting . Food was great and I was very jealous of the ribs that my friends had! They must've been from a dinosaur.... Never seen anything like them .. Ever. Service was 5* from a young lady with dark ponytail who smiled all night and was spot on .. Glad I made the booking!
Great local pub in Ringwood. Lots of free parking, good food, good drinks selection and a happy place to be. More than happy to recommend and will be back again. Thank you for brightening up a grey day.
