Excellent, could not fault this place from the warm welcome on arrival to the service of the food & drinks. The food was hot & delicious. The staff were attentive & hospitable but not in your face. Always around if you need them but there in the background visibly. With the roadworks on the A31 proving turning off here not as easy as before, it’s well worth going around to get to. I can imagine in the summer with the river flowing past the garden & the outdoor space & huge car park, this is a hit. We will be back for sure. This was a teams lunch & we all enjoyed it very much. I am also a bit fussy on the bathroom area, these toilets were well presented & clean. The log burner was on & it was lovely warm and cosy! Thank you
We haven't been here for a, couple of years and whilst in Ringwood thought we'd pay a visit. Great new decor, really colourful, very warm welcome and great food. I had the pie of the week, steak and ale, chips and peas personal favourites and it was absolutely delicious and full of meat. Partners mom had the small haddock and chips with minted peas which she wolfed down and was so good to see, my partner had the fishcakes with mango chutney and curry sauce which he described as simply amazing. Mom finished with sat pudding again wolfed down in an instant. Whenever you're in Ringwood give the fish a try I'm pretty sure you won't leave disappointed
Food was amazing Had ploughmans and the kids had fish and chips and pulled pork. Quality of the locally sourced ingredients was impeccable! Prices reasonable for the current climate too. Lovely location smack bang on the river in Ringwood. Fab wallpaper in the Gents too
Had another excellent meal, with the family, on Wednesday. The food was delicious and the service was great. I'd previously signed up to their loyalty card and saved 25% on this visit because we went on a Wednesday. We didn't eat outside but they have a lovely garden next to the river.
Beautiful pub in a lovely Riverside setting. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was really good. I had the monster roast all the meat all the trimmings and it was delicious. Beef was the best cut of meat in opinion. Free carpark
This pub is right down the bottom of Ringwood high street and we’ll worth the drive/walk. This pub is the first pub I have been in for months and I’ve been to a few, who haven’t put uncooked vegetables on my plate. I don’t want hot raw vegetables with my roast. So for me this is the place to go. Food is hot and tasty and the staff are lovely. I’m going again. I would recommend The Fish Inn.
A truly beautiful setting with an old world thatched pub sitting on the river Avon on the edge of the market town of Ringwood. The garden overlooks the river with nicely spaced tables all with a view of the bridge, river or both. The food here is great too. I had the Butcombe Ale beef pie and my partner had the haddock and chips. Both were delicious, presented beautifully and tasting great. Thank you the Fish Inn for a lovely evening...
A very pleasant pub with an impressive menu. I didn't eat on my visit, but I did settle for a Butcombe Gold. Not the cheapest at almost a fiver a pint, but very good. A lovely outside area overlooking the river. Will go back and try one of the snacks and may a different beer
Good pint but my mate just had his bill for 4pints of Butcombe and 2 fish n chips £55 Value for money it's not
We came here for a family lunch on a Monday. We rang in advance and they reserved us a table although there were quite a few spare tables. The place was clean, well decorated and cosy. The food was delicious and the waitress that served us was simply lovely - wish we got her name. Would highly recommend and will 100% return!
