A great pub in a pleasant location beside a lake. Interior is great since the refurbishment. Nice selection of food and always really tasty. Staff are always pleasant with good service and relaxing atmosphere. Usual lager on pump plus some ales. Good selection of wine and gins available. Dogs allowed outside.Food: 5/5

Was completely surprised by the quality of food , it looks like it would serve standard pub grub, but it's so much more than that , the food is very good quality. I had pork belly and it was cooked to perfection , the vegetables, potatoes and sauce were also amazing and tasty well done to the chefs The restaurant is let down a bit with regards to the service, the staff took a very long time to take our order and we had to ask them numerous times if we could order! Although they did appear a little short staffed!

First time here and we were so impressed with both the food and service. Location is stunning and we took a walk around the lake afterwards. We had the calamari to start with ravioli and chicken for the mains, both delicious. Highly recommend.

Lovely views of the lake, this restaurant is one of the best in Kent. Enough parking. There is a smoking and non-smoking area so you can visit with the kids. Food is testy and freshly cooked. Highly recommended.

A beautiful restaurant with nice outdoor space. The food is fresh and delicious, and desserts were great but overly sweet. The staff are nice and friendly even though there is not much service.

It's a really nice place to eat, drinkboth alcoholic and nonalcoholic bevarageswith your family /friends the food is affordable. Visit while in dartford. You'll love it. You can either call them for reservations or just walk in.

I was surprised, and so was my partner. I've been to many parts of Kent before but never explored Dartford. We went for a walk and stumbled across this restaurant, an amazing find. The location was perfect, and the staff very friendly. We only went for a drink, but stayed for food. It is a Shepherd Neame menu and as a result boasts a large variety for hungry passers by and for those with dietary requirements or vegetarian. They asked when I ordered whether we had any allergies which I find to be fantastic service. Prices for mains are around the £10 to £14 mark which is very reasonable for the quality and portion size. Kid-friendliness: Absolutely fine with the little one being there, even had a separate menu for young ones. If I recall correctly it's £5.45 for just a main and £6.45 including a dessert. They have both smoking and non-smoking areas so you can dine with your own preference. One warning, be sure your child is hungry, again, the portion sizes are more than generous!

Good find for meeting a friend who comes over Dartford crossing. Parking. Easy to find and seemed friendly. No problems with food in the bar area in terms of service time. Fish finger sandwich was a bit weird. Not really fish fingers more battered fish - not my fav. But nice enough. We plan to return as handy location.

Nice pub on the lakeside, food is nice and atmosphere is so relaxing. Highly recommended the risotto, the lobster sauce smell so good.

Become my go-to place to eat when I’m in the area. Great location and a good selection of well priced quality food. Staff are great, very welcoming and helpful. Recommend the fish and chips or the roast chicken and a pint of Bear Island IPA !
