First time at the Rose today for my mums birthday. There were 10 of us so quite a big table to serve. When we arrived the staff were very attentive and friendly which gave the pub a lovely atmosphere. I had heard that the food was good but it was absolutely delicious! The starter of Tempura cod was very tasty and the Roast dinner exceeded all our expectations . Would thoroughly recommend it and thank you to all the staff for looking after us and making it a very special occasion.
I have lived in the area for over 20 years and never been in the "Rose". I had a family dinner today and it was very nice. Nice pub friendly and has a very nice pub garden. This place was recommended to us . 10/10 thank you be back soon for a drink night out.
Another visit to a wonderful pub. Just noticed they have some interesting clocks. I found a Mars, a Uranus and a Pluto. I am looking for the rest. Guinness is still excellent as it the Tribute

Booked for Sunday roast, we were two families with young children. The food and the service are absolutely stunning, we surely recommend the place as a spot to do not miss . We are sorry for giving you a loud and noisy lunch
