We visit the Woodlands frequently as we are local and the food and service is always brilliant. Christmas Eve we booked for a party of 12 (3 family's). The service was so efficient and quick considering how busy it was. Must give a special thanks to James Pugh the GM who went out his way to work out all separate bills for each family. I look after an elderly gentleman who is 83. We have been going to the Woodlands for a while now once a week every week. The manager staff and chefs are fantastic they always cater for anything Den wants and girls on the bar always make a fuss of him so he thinks they are flirting with him which he thinks is highly amusing as they don't flirt with me. We both love going there as the food is really nice.

Every time I come home from uni the price of a pint has gone up. Came back for Easter and hand dryer in the men's is still broken from Christmas. Overall I do enjoy it but it has declined over the last few years.

Not a pub I've been time after time but I would visit it more. Its maybe better if you are In a group of people. The staff are nice.
