Good location by side of big lake. Good food and good decor. Can be very busy on fine days at weekend. Very popular with bikers.

Good location by the lake and spacious restaurant. Limited range of beers. In my opinion the food, which was excellent, has deteriorated more recently and has the appearance of being bought in, ready prepared - mushy chips that seem to have been frozen. Got the usual 'Did you enjoy your meal?' when the table staff cleared the table but didn't seem able to respond to a comment that was not entirely complementary. It's ok but not great.

The food was appalling. Cold and greasy. My husband's fish was overcooked. The staff on the food side very dismissive when I complained. We felt very let down by them.

Popped in in a very lovely day during  the week. We sat outside with our dogs and thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and the food was delicious. Will definitely return soon.
