Been here tonight as it had good reveiws, but I was totally disgusted, its the worst chippy ive ever had. I had fish n chips the fish batter was so soggy with grease chips were little scraps tray of batter was full of grease. Husband had kebab meat and chips kebab meat was dried up scraps done in microwave on plastic tray that had melted in microwave, chips were tiny dried up scraps chillie was tomatoe sauce with cut up veg and garlic sauce was thick maynaise with a slight taste of garlic if I was you I would rather travel to Amble for a decent chippy 😡😡

I know my chippys and this one is right up there! 
I must pass a dozen on the way there. Food and value is excellent and the staff are friendly and cheerful.  Thumbs up all
