Story

The White Swan at Fence is a Timothy Taylors pub nestling in the shadow of Pendle Hill.

Since 2013 The White Swan has been gaining a reputation for serving fine food, wine and beer.

In 2014 a brilliant review by national food critic Jay Raynor really put us in the spot light.

For us it's about the food, quality ingredients are expertly prepared by Chef Tom Parker to create unique dishes. Front of House, service is informal, allowing you to relax and enjoy your experience with us.

Simply wonderful. Purchased a food box, step by step instructions, straightforward to cook, very enjoyable.

Fantastic laid back fine dining at a Michelin rated old village pub, Attentive Staff. Casual attire, parking plentiful.

Amazing food and service. Not to be missed.

Outstanding food that is on another level for value for money. Anyone who isn't coming here on the regular is missing a trick. Humble owners and friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere whilst eating high end delicious food. Highly recommended

Very good. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, the vibe, the other guests. Staff were attentive and pleasant. The food was the star though, and rightly so. If you have the opportunity to go, seize it.
