Popped in for tea, we ordered a nacho sharer and the southern fried burger, both starter and main meal came quickly and tasted delicious. The staff were very accommodating getting water for our dog, we were sat out in the beer garden and they came out to check on us through out meal, highly reccomend this lovely pub
We booked for a pre Christmas lunch and enjoyed a very pleasant meal. Nice staff and atmosphere. Bit quiet due to the recent new Covid variant but still good.
This is a fantastic family pub and we’re always made to feel welcome. Colette is lovely and has a great team making sure that people are served quickly and the food is always good value. Special mention to Chris, Danni and Nic, who are always friendly and brilliant with our toddler when we visit. The always go the extra mile for us and we appreciate it.
We are new to the area and this is our local. The establishment is clean, well decorated and welcoming. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was spot on, really enjoyed our visit and are going to make this a regular habit. Better than cooking and washing up!!
Came with the family for Sunday lunch yesterday, although very busy and fully booked, we were found a table away from the noise. We were helped by Chloe when we were unsure which drinks to have and she even offered advice on which sauces go best with the meals we were having. Amazing family pub and great food, can't wait to return!
Well you didn't have a record of our booking! So we were lucky that there were a couple of tables free to accommodate our large group. Otherwise, food was good, service friendly. It was really loud, but only to be expected as there was a kids disco on though we had no prior knowledge of this and probably would have gone somewhere else had we known.
Popped in for a bite to eat with the family for an early Friday night. We were served by Chris who gave us excellent service. The food was delicious as always. we had a fab time xxx
Visited 7/3/23 for lunch. Friendly ,welcoming staff. Chris was great dealing with awkward order for 4. Catered well for my coeliac wife who needs gluten free. Food and service good as was range of drinks. Several previous visits and will return.
What an amazing night, staff had issues dealing with a very drunk lady, but they dealt with it quickly and quietly, they helped my self and my husband when being pestered by this lady, by quickly finding us another table, 100% superb. Had a brilliant valentines evening thanks to the amazing staf thanks to the staff, when our evening could have been ruined by
Nice beef and ale pie. Could do better chips instead of frozen. And the gravy, Goldenfry,Bisto, Im not sure. My partner had a philly cheese and steak Baguette that was to die for.
