Went here today on a whim for dinner and the food was really good we had an original parmesan and belly pork with black pudding prices were reasonable these meals with 2 pints cider and 2 pints of coke came to just over £40 . They have a varied menu and will be calling again.
Had a lovely time celebrating with my family. We were celebrating an 18th Birthday. The staff were welcoming, attentive and very accomodating for our needs. The food was good, great portions some were a little oversized so a couple people we were with felt they couldn't quite finish their meals. Otherwise we had a fantastic time and would recommend!
Had a wonderful time for my granddaughter's birthday , the staff were extremely helpful and there was no waiting our food was out on the table as soon as we were ready, and it was red hot and delicious. The chips were especially nice, we had a 1 year old with us and they took time to make sure he was alright and made a fuss of him, also had a 8 year old, and they went out of the way to see he also had everything he wanted, I wish I had found out the name of the gentleman who served meals then cleaned every thing away he was lovely, so definitely will come back . Thank you
Great food and great staff. We visit quite every couple of months and always happy to go back. Occasionally if very busy service can be a bit slow but no great problem. If you are celebrating an occasion they are quite happy to bring out your own cake at end of meal and have tables decorated if you wish. Superb service and customer care.
Great place x great food x friendly staff x good prices x 5 of us had meals. They have light bites and full menu. All meals ordered were different and all served lovely. All plates were empty when collected . Will definitely go back. Parking: Lots of parking spaces available Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up into the pub. Good access.
Absolutely brilliant! So refreshing to see staff going out their way for customers. My little girl spilt her drink and within minutes another one was brought to her no one was asked to, this was out of kindness also one of our guests has a newborn and her meal had gone cold while she was feeding, they did her a fresh one. Beautiful food , amazing staff best place I have been
Beautiful food, friendly atmosphere
We always go to the Burtree for family meals and mid week teas and have never had a bad meal for the years we've been going! The best pork escalope/parmo I've tasted! Fairly priced and lovely staff too!
First visit, parking is difficult as the car park is small compared to the number of seats inside. The main entrance has a ramp as well as steps, however the first door opens in over and the second door opens out over, very tricky for wheelchairs or prams. That said the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Pre booked the table, good menu choices, you order and pay at the bar for the food and drinks. Once the food is ready it is brought to the table. It was really busy but still had a good atmosphere. I didn't use the rest room so cannot comment. No special disabled seating, not sure about child seating. Closed on a Tuesday, one of those places you need to try for yourself. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options.
