Went to watch a friend gig, great evening, nice atmosphere and excellent bar service, very reasonably priced too.
A brilliant proper pub not a pretentious cocktail bar. Good selection of wines, spirits, beers and lagers. Landlord and landlady really nice people and very welcoming. Live music Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Live Sky Football. A good tap room as well. These proper type of pubs are dying out fast so we need to support them.
Bright, clean & cosy pub. Lovely friendly staff. Good selection of beers at a reasonable price. They have some good live bands on too. Well worth a visit
This is a really nice old time pub just outside the centre of Royton. The bar staff are really friendly and accommodating as you are there for a funeral. They was Take Over the big screen TV to put on the slideshow of the deceased, and although they don't offer catering they had no problems with food in being laid out for the people who'd been to the funeral.nnIn addition to drinks were very reasonably priced with no queue times and there's a nice little beer garden for a smoke and a sit in the sun.
Brilliant night at the Thursday pub Quiz Night.nGreat atmosphere, friendly crowd as well as beer / cash prizes for the top 3 teams. Jackpot on play cards right too. £200 won last week.
