Wonderful little ale-house. Obviously the first thing that will strike you about this place is it's size, with the bar taking up around half of the ground floor. probably around 20 seats downstairs, BUT there is also and upstairs with extra tables. The drinks selection is excellent and unrivalled in the area, with well-sourced taps and a great beer fridge with many not-so-common selections available. The staff are incredibly helpful and one of the owners is almost always working, showing how they care about the business and always very helpful and knowledgable. Not one to pass by!

For a proper beer the only place to go in Royton. Six decent ales in constant rotation. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Glad to see this place doing consistently well - you guys deserve it!

Quaint and quirky. A great selection of beers. And (as I found out today) A great regular on tap,for those that prefer a more "commercial" drink. Staff are all willing to chat to customers (although it's always quiet when I go). Prices are great considering what they sell. (craft beer is limited, so is a bit more expensive anyway) 100% recommend this place to anyone.

It's always a place I visit when back visiting family. The small size of the place add to the great atmosphere. Most importantly the ale is superb and always try something different and have never been disappointed.

Real ale emporium. Astounding selection of quickly changing beers. A vast selection of bottle and tins of Belgian and other beers. Great hosts and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
