Wow, this place is improving at a rate of knots. I last went here about a year ago and it was a dismal local dive. Today, it was lively, friendly and had better beer on. It now has a river terrace where the river runs beneath. Will definitely be going back, probably tonight, provided they don't crank up the music to normal Midsomer Norton 'ear damage' volumes.

Proper pub.roaring fire in the bar .people talking to each other.if you want a wine bar this is not your place! If you want friendly then ..it is !

Went to use the loo when done the barmaid got angry and said I need to buy something to use the loo!!. Its a public bathroom!!
