Well i only popped in for a pint and was very impressed with the decor recently done and much improved on what was. New landlords Leeann and Will very friendly and interactive with customers and full of new ideas and vigour to make it a place for the whole community . Live music , quizzes and raffles all make this a place to go.nWalk or catch the local bus as there is only space for 6 or 7 cars in car park.
Went down a couple of times, lovely pub with a great potential Will and Chanelle are very welcoming . It will be an amazing pub when it’s done up . New owners have taken over can’t wait to see what it will be like after revamp . Will be back soon .
*BANDS BEWARE*nWe were booked to play this evening only to turn up to the venue to be told that we “weren’t booked”. This was a lie. The weasel faced “manager” tried to pin it on owners, other members of staff and could only stutter when confronted by the person he’d booked us with face to face. They also stiffed a band on NYE. If you’re considering playing there, get a 100% deposit or ask for money before setting up. AVOID IF POSSIBLE!
Felt completely unwelcome there. Someone was smoking a cigarette inside and the barman didn't care. First in queue having waited for some time to be served yet was ignored and served second because the barman knew the people who came in after us. They don't accept card payments so we waited for nothing, could have had a sign. Really dark, dingy and looks unclean. The only welcome we got was from two lovely dogs. Don't recommend the place.
Spacious, with plenty of tables, darts and a pool room. In the process of being upgraded and decorated. It will be a lovely space when completed.
