Works Christmas Dinner. 20 of us so lots to do. Food was excellent, served promptly. It was hot, tasty and I don't think anyone didn't like their food. Lots of veg served separately. Having recently had a very disappointing Christmas meal at the overpriced and under delivering Fleece in Witney this was a very pleasant change. The bar was absolutely heaving all night yet the service was very good no one had to wait to be served. A proper pub so if you don't mind a bit of noise in the evening well worth a visit.
Met up with family for a pre-Christmas meal. Had a fab time. The food was the best I had ever eaten in a pub , vegetables were cooked to perfection ,still crunchy and the chicken was delicious. So much food!! The pub itself was very atmospheric, service was excellent and staff were very friendly and welcoming. We hope to rendezvous again next Summer. Highly recommended.
Popped in for a quick drink after a paranormal investigation at minster lovell. Great pub, recommend the strawberry cider. landlord and staff and customers very friendly.
Fantastic, friendly, cosy pub/restaurant serving delicious food. Menu is really good, with something for everyone. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Definitely one to visit regularly.
Had Sunday lunch!! Very busy! Service was good food was excellent!! Lovely warm atmosphere in an authentic Village pub!!, we'll be back.
Totally what I expected, a beautiful cosy pub in the middle of country, with great assortment of memorabilia placed around the interior. Looked like it may be a good live music venue, due to the setup they had. Had a great time just stopped off for a quick birthday drink with the wife and had a great time! Cute spot!
Perfect spot for late lunch. Lovely warm welcome and fabulous food. They weren't busy and kindly altered the tuna to be keto-friendly, duck dish already was. Enjoyed the sun in the beer garden, but they are well set up for indoor dining and undercover outdoor as well. Highly recommended
We met my parents here for a quiet drink and a bite to eat, and weren't disappointed. Located alongside a main road but set in lovely countryside, sitting out in the beer garden was a pleasant way to while away the afternoon. The staff were as pleasant as you would expect, the food was absolutely fantastic, and the pub itself was clean and tidy, though perhaps a bit worn down in places. The pub did get very busy with rowdy ish tradesmen who dominated the bar area and made it very difficult to get a drink, and this was exacerbated by a severe staff shortage which the chef apologised for when he brought the food out. All in all, a nice pub and a fine experience. We would return, but it would only be for the food as opposed to anything else in particular.
Enjoyed a delicious Sunday Roast. Tables were well spaced. Lovely staff. Very good service
Visited on New Year Eve. Lovely atmosphere and staff very friendly and attentive. They could do with some more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu.
